The society began with a group of third year polytechnic students. They first started hosting large parties during frosh and at the end of each semester to celebrate the end of final exams. As the group became well known throughout Ryerson, their popularity inspired them for bigger antics. They soon came up with the greatest idea in Ryerson’s history; bring a live Ram (Eggy) to school. To this day, we still don’t know the enitre truth about the United Rams and Ryerson, as there are many secrets of our past that we have yet to discover.
