Ladies and Gentlemen of Ryerson,
Once founded by a group of four, the United Rams of Ryerson began as a small social gathering honouring the finest institution in Toronto, Ryerson. The best parties, craziest antics and latest campus trends are controlled by the United Rams’ final club, Spades. Since 1961, the United Rams ran Ryerson. Plain and simple. The society began with a group of third year polytechnic students. They first started hosting large parties at the end of each semester to commemorate Ryerson and celebrate the ending of final exams. As the group became well known throughout Ryerson, their popularity inspired them for bigger antics. They soon came up with the greatest idea in Ryerson’s history; bring a live Ram (Eggy) to school. What started out as a small group, the society grew as more risk takers endured many audacious challenges proving the United Rams to be more noble than any other non-Ryerson student. These challenges ranged from different themes and categories outlined by our prestigious Rambassadors who earned their titles, respectively. Having been a once more secretive society, the United Rams have recently emerged publicly as requested by the founders. It’s time to go public and broadcast our shit. Sincerely, Headmaster Ram
